Two minds were united this day
In a Union called marriage.
How my heart leaps, sweet lady,
When I remember that day !

I lost my mind in adoration
The moment I saw you in a dhavani.
Now I risk losing my life
When I think of our separation.

The wonderful muses of my youth,
The great expectations I had of you, and
The feelings we shared gayly,
Hurts me now every moment daily.

And drink of the juicy ambrosia,
